Pô Kô Farms focuses on not only increasing product quality but also contributing to community development and doing many meaningful activities.

Good Coffee

Founded in early 2009, as one of the first 03 coffee farmer organizations in Vietnam to be Fairtrade certified, over the years Pô Kô Farms has tried it best to produce good coffee that is delicious, safe, high quality and have unique taste. Pô Kô Farms’ coffee bean has been exported to many countries around the world such as America, Russia, UK, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, …

In 2018, Pô Kô Farms Coffee is scored over 81 at Fairtrade’s private cup, at the Coffee Expo event held by SCAA in Seattle, USA.

In 2019, Pô Kô Farms Coffee achieved score 84+ at Fairtrade public cupping, at Coffee Expo event held by SCAA in Boston, USA and Coffee Expo event held by SCAE in Berlin, Germany.

In early 2020, Pô Kô Farms’ Robusta coffee was in the top 10 of the best Vietnamese Robusta coffee which selected by Amazing Cup, Vietnam Specialty Coffee Association.

In addition, Po Ko Farms also associates to build a professional factory that meets international standards, ensures to produce high quality coffee on a large scale.

Quality control staffs of Pô Kô Farms are trained on Fine Robusta processing methods, on Q grading and got Q-grader certificate, on roasting and got certificate of CQI.

Beyond good coffee

Besides, Po Ko Farms also makes endless efforts to improve income of its members and actively contribute to community development.

Improving coffee farmer’s income

Members providing Fairtrade certified coffee as commitment get approximately 30% higher income than selling conventional products on the market.

Additionally, Pô Kô Farms supports and creates suitable jobs in the coffee industry and creates development opportunities for the underprivileged, for the women, the young, the young generation in the coffee farmer families. As well, all members of Pô Kô Farms have been trained, educated and empowered not only in farming activities but also in management and doing business.

Community development

Pô Kô Farms has contributed for community, such as: building two community houses, one kindergarten, seven houses for underprivileged families, constructing one rural road, one bridge over river, contributing to the scholarship funds for primary schools, funding for victims of Agent Orange, giving Tet gifts for the underprivileged people, holding activities for women, etc.

Environment protection

Farmers suffer negative affects due to climate changes. The cooperative has hold training course for members to adapt climate change such as watering management, encouraging to grow shade trees, managing grass effectively, collecting and managing waste in corrective and better ways, etc.

The cooperative also provides member microbiological fertilizer, organic fertilizer, shade trees etc. to improve, protect and enhance nutrients for the soil.
